Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how RUSHD, operated by the RUSHD team under Medad, collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the RUSHD website, account system, desktop software, and related services.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, account type, organization information where provided, and authentication data.
- Device information: device identifiers and basic device/session information needed to authorize and manage desktop access.
- Subscription and payment information: selected plan, billing cycle, order status, and payment-verification information. When you submit a manual payment receipt, the receipt may contain transaction details that are visible to our authorized administrators.
- Usage and technical information: security logs, request information, error information, and service activity reasonably necessary to operate and protect RUSHD.
- Support information: information you provide when contacting us for help or reporting an issue.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to create and authenticate accounts, provide and personalize plan access, verify payments, manage devices and subscriptions, communicate with users, provide support, prevent abuse and fraud, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, and improve the service.
3. Payment Information
For manual payment methods, we may review uploaded payment proofs to verify a transaction. We do not need your banking password, PIN, or one-time authentication code to verify a payment. Do not upload secrets or credentials that are not necessary to establish payment.
4. Service Providers
We may rely on third-party infrastructure and service providers for hosting, databases, email delivery, authentication, analytics, storage, payment processing, and other operational functions. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services and according to their own applicable terms and privacy practices.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account and payment records, meet security and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a small software service, including authenticated access controls, password hashing, HTTPS, session protections, and administrative controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices and Requests
You may contact us to ask about the personal information associated with your account, request correction of inaccurate account information, or ask about deletion where deletion is legally and technically possible. Some information may need to be retained for security, fraud prevention, accounting, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes.
8. Children
RUSHD is not intentionally designed to collect personal information from children who are not permitted to use the service under applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so we can review the situation.
9. International Processing
Depending on the infrastructure and service providers used by RUSHD, information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country where you live. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and appropriate safeguards.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, technology, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will identify the current version.
